Heddiw, wrth i ni ddathlu cryfder, dygnwch, a llwyddiannau merched, rydym hefyd yn cymryd eiliad i gofio'r merched sydd wedi llunio ein bywydau, boed trwy eu cariad, arweinyddiaeth, neu'r etifeddiaeth maen nhw wedi'i gadael y tu ôl.
I'r holl ferched nad ydynt yn ein plith mwyach ond sy'n parhau i'n harwain mewn ysbryd, mae eich doethineb a'ch cariad yn parhau gyda ni bob amser. Mae eich etifeddiaethau yn ffynhonnell o gryfder, a ni fydd eich atgofion byth yn diflannu.
Heddiw, rydyn ni'n dathlu'r merched sy'n ein hysbrydoli ac yn anrhydeddu'r merched rydyn ni wedi'u colli. ...........................................
Today, as we celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of women, we also take a moment to remember the women who have shaped our lives, whether through their love, leadership, or the legacy they’ve left behind.
To all the women who are no longer with us but continue to guide us in spirit—your wisdom and love remain with us always. Your legacies are a source of strength, and your memories will never fade.
Today, we celebrate the women who inspire us and honour the women we’ve lost.
Fel cyfarwyddwr angladdau, rwy'n treulio fy niwrnod yn helpu pobl trwy fomentau mwyaf anodd yn eu bywyd. Ond pan fydd y diwrnod yn dod i ben, rwy'n troi at lyfrau fel fy ffordd o ymlacio a dianc. P'un a yw'n ‘thriller’ cyffro sy'n codi'r galon neu'r daith emosiynol felys o nofel ramant, mae darllen yn ffordd o gydbwyso pwysau fy ngwaith gydag ychydig bach o lawenydd.
Ar ddiwrnod byd llyfrau hwn, rwy'n eich gwahodd i fynd i mewn i fydau dirgelwch, cariad, a chyffro. Beth yw’r genre rydych yn ei hoffi pan fydd angen i chi golli eich hun mewn llyfr?
Rhowch eich argymhelliad isod — gadewch i ni rannu cariad at ddarllen! 📖💕
As a funeral director, I spend my days helping people through life's most difficult moments. But when the day winds down, I turn to books as my way to unwind and escape. Whether it’s the heart-pounding suspense of a thriller or the sweet, emotional journey of a romance novel, reading is my way of balancing the weight of my work with a bit of joy.
On this World Book Day, I invite you to dive into the worlds of mystery, love, and excitement. What’s your go-to genre when you need to lose yourself in a book?
Drop your recommendation below — let’s share the love of reading! 📖💕
Currently trying to read this. Never seem to carve out the time to really make a dent in it - you've inspired me to do that tonight ❤️ My genre is always the same.... espionage, violence and military.
I love reading and have been struggling recently but I’ve just read ‘The Women’ by Kristin Hannah about the women who signed up to go to the Vietnam war as nurses.
