On Saturday, Dad, Mam, myself, and a wonderful group of supportive family and friends will begin the 24-hour Relay For Life in aid of Cancer Research UK, in memory of Carwyn. Twelve months on since we lost him, it’s still incredibly tough. But the love, kindness, and continued support from everyone around us has been truly heartwarming, and we’re so grateful. If you’re free, please come along and support us at Treborth Athletics Track — we’d love to see you there. If you’d like to support the cause with a donation, the link is below. And for a bit of extra entertainment… our very own Mr. Bryn Jones will be transforming into Miss Jones for the famous “Miss Relay” lap — definitely something you won’t want to miss! Thank you all for your support 💜
Ddydd Sadwrn, bydd Dad, Mam, fi , a grŵp gwych o deulu a ffrindiau cefnogol yn dechrau’r Relay For Life - 24 awr er budd Cancer Research UK, er cof am Carwyn. Blwyddyn ers i ni ei golli, mae’n dal yn gyfnod anodd iawn. Ond mae’r cariad, y caredigrwydd, a’r gefnogaeth gan bawb wedi bod yn hynod galonogol, ac rydym mor ddiolchgar. Os ydych yn rhydd, dewch draw i’n cefnogi ni ar drac athletau Treborth — byddai’n braf iawn eich gweld yno. Os hoffech gefnogi’r achos drwy wneud cyfraniad, mae’r ddolen isod. Ac am ychydig o hwyl ychwanegol… bydd Mr Bryn Jones ei hun yn troi’n Miss Jones ar gyfer y lap “Miss Relay” — rhywbeth na fyddwch eisiau ei golli! Diolch o galon i bawb am eich cefnogaeth 💜
Bill was a lovely man who has lived in Brynteg for 16 years. From the day he and Jane arrived they were determined to integrate into the community.
He spent three years learning Welsh and when those lessons came to an end he continued on his own with Duo Lingo until a couple of weeks before he passed.
Apart from his involvement with The Good Turn Scheme he was always ready to get involved in the village of Brynteg and anything we got up to. Always ready to help anyone he will be sadly missed by us all. Sending fondest love and sincerest sympathy to Jane and the family. You are an important part of our community and we look after our own.
Cwsg yn dawel Bill mewn tragwyddol hedd.
Sleep quietly Bill in eternal peace. Xx
So sorry to hear this thinking of Jane and all the family Bill was a lovley man and will be greatly missed xx❤️
So very sorry to hear this. Bill was a true gent. Sending my condolences to Jane and the family. Sue xx
So sorry to hear this news, Bill was so kind and patient with my Dad. Our thoughts are with Jane and the family ❤️ xx
RIP 🙏
Our very sincere condolences to Jane and all the family. So shocked to see this sad news. A lovely man who helped so many
Thank you to the Bangor Crematorium staff, fellow funeral directors and the congregation for their understanding and cooperation today. One of my memories as a child in the 70s is sitting in my dad’s car in Benllech waiting for the 6.00pm pips to sound on the radio. It was time for the fairground to open! Or as we knew it ‘sioe bach’.
It was run by Jonny and Rose and often Rose would let me on the dodgers for free! Happy days.
Fast forward to today and I had the privilege of taking their grandson Jon’s funeral. He died at such a young age and will be so missed. Proud of his roots and his connection with the fairground, Jon leaves a family devastated by their loss.
My thanks to Jones Brothers Benllech Funeral Directors for their excellent care of the arrangements. True professionalism is shown when things go wrong, and the closure of the Menai Bridge earlier today added so much stress to the day. Katy and the team, however, stepped up to the plate and showed us what true pros they are as they handled a situation well outside their control so well. Diolch ichi. ... See MoreSee Less

DYDD SUL Y TADAU HAPUS
Heddiw, rydym yn anrhydeddu pob tad—
y rhai sydd yma o hyd,
yn arwain, yn caru, ac yn cefnogi,
a’r rhai sydd yn golled fawr inni,
ond a gofir am byth.
Rydym hefyd yn dal yn ein calonnau
y tadau sydd wedi colli mab.
Mae eich galar yn daith ddofn ac unigryw.
Nid ydych ar eich pen eich hun,
ac mae eich cariad tuag ato yn parhau.
Rydym yn eich gweld.
Rydym yn eich anrhydeddu.
Rydym yn cerdded wrth eich ochr.
YN ANRHYDEDDU CARIAD.
YN COFIO AM BYTH.
Yn eich cefnogi heddiw, yfory, a phob amser.
Y Sul y Tadau hwn, rydym yn cofio’r cariad,
y gwersi, a’r effaith barhaol y mae tadau’n ei gadael.
Heddiw a phob dydd.
Rydym yma i chi ym mhob cyfnod o fywyd.
Oddi wrth ein teulu ni at eich teulu chi. ... See MoreSee Less
